This is us! We met going to school at the University of Colorado Boulder. We call Colorado home, but moved to Pasadena, California this past year. We like to hike, trail run, ski and snowboard, and of course, cook.
I am Zach. We moved to Pasadena so that I could go to school at the California Institute of Technology to study Chemical Engineering for my PhD. While it was difficult to leave Colorado behind, I am enjoying the school and many activities of southern California. Currently, I am doing research on thermoelectric materials which have the ability to turn waste heat directly into electricity! I love mexican food, and I'm glad that I've finally found someone to eat it with (THANKS GINA!).
He really does LOVE mexican food- sometimes I just have to say no to the Rick Bayless cookbook! Anyway, I am Gina! I graduated from nursing school in December 2010, and currently work as a registered nurse on a Medical floor in Glendale, California. Calling California home has been difficult, but I am learning to love SoCal. I cannot get over the farmer's markets, vineyards, beaches, and the food. I like to listen to music, get crafty, and bicycle around town.
